The laboratory provides a number of services in the 3D field. This page presents all possible services, including services that provided in designated research laboratories in the Faculty.
- The time needed to print 3D model can vary significantly depending on the size of the model and its formal complexity. It can change vary from few hours for a simple model of a few grams and up to a whole day for a complex model consists of hundreds of grams.
- To make an appointment for printing students need to make sure that the model is “water tight” and then send the STL file to the Lab’s manager in order to get price offer. Please save a copy for Rhino supported files in needs for repairs and adjustments. You can make a 3D printing appointment at tcom3d@gmail.com
The printer prints a white polymer material. Printer’s tray size is 30 cm long, 20 cm wide and 15 cm high. Printing accuracy is about 0.1 to 0.2 mm.
